Join Our Local Artist Library

Distinctive Art Source works with hundreds of talented artists across the country. We are continually adding new artists to our digital library to expand innovative healthcare art options for our clients. Often preference is given to artists who live or work near the communities we are working in.

If you would like us to consider your artwork for future projects please complete the following steps:

1. Read our free Whitepaper on Tips for Artists to Succeed in the Healthcare Market. This will help you understand the healthcare art market.

2. Review the following information about evidence-based design to determine if your artwork is appropriate for the healthcare environment: Evidence Based Design

3. Submit up to 10 images (in a low res jpeg file format) – via email to Carolyn. Please do not send links to your website as your submittal. We like to review your website in addition to your work but are in need of individual images to easily add your work to our library.

It is very important that you title your submittal images as follows so they do not become anonymous entries in our digital library:

Last Name Medium Title Size Artists Unframed Cost
Example: Smith Oil on Canvas Birds of a Feather 20” x 30” 500.00

4. Provide standard size and pricing information along with your contact information (phone, email, mailing address in the body of an email or as an attachment to the email). It’s important to know where you are located so we can present your work for consideration n relevant projects. An artist’s statement and or bio is also helpful if readily available.

Once we receive your submittals, our healthcare art consultants will review them and notify you if we are adding your work to our digital library for possible inclusion on future projects.

Thanks again for your interest in sharing your talent and helping us improve healing environments through evidence and patient based art programs. If you would like to register for our mailing list to receive future Calls for Artists, and Healthcare Art Reports please enter your email address in the box to join the list.
