DAS Receives Warm Reception at Institute for Patient and Family Centered Care Conference

The team at Distinctive Art Source had the honor of attending the Institute for Patient and Family Centered Care Conference in Washington, DC last month. As first-time participants in this conference, we were impressed by the quality of the information and the genuine connections we formed. “It was a delight to be immersed in a group of individuals so passionate about creating patient and family centered care,” says Barbara Harriman, president and creative director of DAS. “And we were in great company as we discovered so many hospitals who share the same mission of engaging people on multiple levels in providing and experiencing patient and family centered care.”

Harriman (pictured with a guest at the DAS booth) brainstormed with several participants on innovative ideas, dynamic art programs that tell powerful stories, and the value of community engagement.  Kudos to the team at the Institute for Patient and Family Centered Care for a job well done on the bi-annual conference!
