Southeast Health Sculpture Goes Pink for Breast Cancer

Southeast Health Sculpture Goes Pink for Breast Cancer

Our friends at Southeast Health Cancer Center is recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October in an artful manner. They are shinning pink lights on the exterior sculpture Tranquil Ripples, a Jeffrey Laudenslager piece, which was commissioned as an integral part of the the art program created with DAS when the Cancer Center opened in 2011. The 20-foot tall titanium and stainless steel sculpture stands outside the Southeast Cancer Center. It features three independently moving, wind-driven rings, symbolizing rings of healing. The continuously moving monument represents the patients, families and support of the SoutheastHealth community.
