The art program at the Riverside Regional Medical Center Pavilion is a visual history of Newport News, telling the stories of the James River, shipbuilding, the Portside and the local community. Local artists depict familiar scenes and a collection of artful photos feature popular hangouts, restaurants and landscapes.
Natural sunlight spills into the open public spaces, bringing glass artwork to life and creating a warm, hospitable environment. Traditional shapes used in contemporary ways provides a unique combination of past and present — all with a focus on the Newport News community.
