The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital features a NICU Graduate Portrait Gallery that greets families and visitors with stories of hope and encouragement as they approach the NICU. The photo gallery was one element of a comprehensive art program Distinctive Art Source helped create at Sentara Princess Anne. The gallery, featuring former NICU patients, begins to visually tell the stories of the many children who pass through the NICU doors and continue to grow and thrive. The joyful images offer hope to the parents of current patients and serve as beautiful reminders to the staff of the importance of their work as they care for these babies.
