“The idea of movement and motion is at the core of all activities within the building. From healing of sports injuries to the path through recovery to the refinement of performance through training, every aspect of the building challenges the spirit and creates a therapeutic environment for strength, endurance and improvement.” – Children’s Health Specialty Center
Children’s Health wanted their new facility to reflect their community, including active child and athlete alike. As a way to visually include the children of the community in the art program, DAS created an artful opportunity and through Children’s Health Marketing, invited families to upload photos of their children for inclusion on the Entry Lobby Graphic Art Wall. With more than 600 images received, the pixilated wall graphic is a true representation of the community served by the facility. The children’s photos visually celebrate active healthy lifestyles while reflecting and creating a strong sense of belonging for patients and their families.
