The thoughtful and beautiful blend of functionality and comfort is a demonstration of the care compassion and consideration the CIHA leadership and staff have put into this building. Facility design incorporates elements to ensure family togetherness even during the chaos caused by addition. The integration of soft and gentle themes throughout this facility reveals the heartfelt thought not only to provide safe and effective service but also comfort and security.

DAS proposed and vetted art by enrolled (EBCI) artists that would both visually and emotionally support the building design and patients throughout their journey. Intentional artwork supports Cherokee culture and enhances the peaceful and balanced design directives.
