The Behavioral Health Center offers day treatment programs that help smooth the transition for children who are ready to leave inpatient behavioral treatment but aren’t quite ready to adjust back to normal life. Two levels of care help children transition back to living at home, going to school, and interacting with the world.
Understanding local support and connections can play and important role in patient recovery, DAS collaborated with local K-12 Gallery & Tejas artists to create age and patient appropriate artful experiences throughout the Center. Commissioned and selected artwork create an adolescent friendly environment while including recognizable Dayton destinations.
