It was imperative that selected art support the calm timeless environment created through the use of natural tones, textures, and materials from the area. Intentionally placed artwork shares spaces with large scale design elements including local stone walls and warm wood finishes.

Multi-level spaces provided opportunities for large scale artwork to be enjoyed upon approach and while traveling through each area. Textural metal elements complement the local stone and add an abstract earthy feel to the cafe, while large scale wall murals introduce nature to interior spaces. Floor to ceiling art murals surround interior nurses’ stations with elements of nature, creating a unique identity for each unit. The multimedia art program includes abstract/realistic works by local artists celebrating Loudoun Country’s culture in a contemporary manner.
