Northeast Georgia Women and Children’s Pavilion

Northeast Georgia Women and Children’s Pavilion

Gainesville, Georgia
Architect: HKS
60,000 Square Feet, Art Count: 114
Art Budget: $50,000
Timeline: July 2008 – September 2008

The Woman and Children’s Pavilion imagined an art program that would support their existing branding campaign of “No two are the same” and reflect the local community served by the hospital. The art program needed to be elegant, beautiful, and include contemporary pieces of feminine art that all women could both identify with and appreciate.

Distinctive Art Source combined photography with decidedly feminine views of nature to enhance high profile public spaces. Other unique art components include figurative and kinetic sculptures and a NICU portrait gallery which features graduates and surrounds NICU families with hope and comfort.
