Providing the finest care to our country’s finest men and women, the Center for the Intrepid at Brooke Army Medical Center wanted an art program that combined elements of nature with patriotic and inspirational symbols. Selected art needed to be exceptional, and reflect landmark programs at the center such as their extreme sports therapeutic excursions.
Distinctive Art source worked side by side with therapists and specialists to create an art program that upheld excellence. Knowing CFI’s program partnered directly with National Parks to develop family trips as part of the warrior’s recover process, DAS encouraged the use of strong and inspiring photos of National Parks across the USA as visual reminders of what lies ahead.
Selected photography by the best — National Geographic photographers — for the best — our country’s warriors — help motivate warriors throughout rehab. An additional photo gallery featuring Newsweek’s inspirational photos journaling patients and families on a whitewater rafting trip help newcomers look forward to recovery milestones while celebrating monumental joyful moments.
