DAS Welcomes Shelita Maldonado to the Team!
DAS is thrilled to bring Shelita Maldonado to our team as Office Coordinator. Bringing with her a wealth of expertise in business administration in different industries, Shelita will help to document, streamline and simplify all things related to ordering, purchasing, scheduling, invoicing and more. Her commitment to clarifying DAS processes will allow the rest of the team to happily focus on what they do best.
“My favorite thing about this job is the kind, genuine people here — and the short commute,” said Shelita. Having held a number of positions in business administration and customer service, Shelita has spent her career mastering various administrative software, sharpening her people skills and honing her detail-oriented nature. Originally from New York, Shelita moved to Virginia to be closer to family. She loves to spend her free time outside, hiking and camping with her children.
“Though business administration at its core is the same, it’s been so intriguing to learn more from an artistic perspective,” said Shelita. “Compared to past roles, my position at DAS will grant me more ownership over simplifying our financials and streamlining our processes, picking them apart and piecing them all together again like a puzzle — and I love puzzles!”
